You are what you envision yourself to become. You are built for the road ahead. What you give your time and energy to is what you give your power to. Making mistakes is apart of life and if you continue to dwell on them it can control the rest of your life. I am confident that with the right amount and type of supports any student can and will learn. I am currently living and working in my passion of educating and guiding students. I teach at Vista Academy in the Far Northeast community of Denver Public Schools. I love inspiring students to be innovate and try new things to help them maximize their learning. Through the use to technology and other tools I empower my students to learn and take ownership of their learning. By leading my class with the frequent use of technology I am preparing my students to be competitive in our world and become college and career ready. Outside of the classroom I am a mother to two beautiful daughters and enjoying coaching volleyball, basketball, and soccer to different age groups. I mentor groups of my young female students on different aspects of life and enjoying everything about the outdoors. I will continue to be a life long learner as our world is forever and always changing.
