Jennie Magiera cannot attend InnEdCO this year! We will miss her, and we are excited to welcome Holly Clark as our new conference and leadership keynote for this year!

Holly Clark is an Education Strategist from San Diego, California. She is a Google Certified Innovator, National Board Certified Teacher, and holds an MA in Technology in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has been working with technology integration and 1:1 environments since the year 2000. Presently she consults with schools internationally on building both the culture and strategy to support and inspire innovative teaching- including powerful technology integration and design thinking protocols. Holly has taught in both independent and public schools and is the co-founder of #CaEdChat. Holly is a proud member of the EdTechTeam and head of their publishing division and the Executive Director of Innovative Learning at Oakhill Academy in Temecula, Ca. In 2017, Holly published her first book The Google Infused Classroom and her next book The Student Voice Infused Classroom will be out late 2018.

InnEdCO 2018 Google Academy Keynote Speaker Sarah Thomas

Sarah-Jane Thomas, PhD, is a Regional Technology Coordinator in Prince George’s County Public Schools. Sarah is also a Google Certified Innovator, Google Education Trainer, and founder of the EduMatch project, which promotes connection and collaboration among educators around the world. Through EduMatch, Sarah has published two collaborative books, EduMatch Snapshot in Education (2016) and The #EduMatch Teacher’s Recipe Guide (2017). Sarah is also on the leadership team of the ISTE Digital Equity PLN.

Sarah recently defended her doctoral dissertation at George Mason University in the College of Education and Human Development. She also holds a Master’s degree from Howard University in the field of Curriculum and Instruction.

Sarah was designated an ASCD Emerging Leader in 2016, and was named Prince George's County Public Schools Outstanding Educator Using Technology in 2015. She is also a winner of the 2014 Digital Innovation in Learning Award in the “Sharing is Caring” category, and was named by the National School Board Association as one of the “20 to Watch” in 2015. She was part of the Technical Working Group that refreshed the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards for Educators in 2016-2017, and in 2017, she received the ISTE “Making IT Happen” Award.

InnEdCO 2018 Featured Speaker Matt Miller

Matt Miller is a teacher, blogger and presenter from West Central Indiana. He has infused technology and innovative teaching methods in his classes for more than 10 years. He is the author of the book Ditch That Textbook: Free Your Teaching and Revolutionize Your Classroom and writes at the Ditch That Textbook blog about using technology and creative ideas in teaching. He is a Google Certified Innovator, Bammy! Top to Watch in 2016, and winner of the WTHI-TV Golden Apple Award. Onalytica named him one of the top 10 influencers in educational technology and elearning worldwide.

After trying to do the traditional “teach by the textbook” for a few years, he launched into a textbook-less path where learning activities were often custom-produced for his students as well as infused with technology. He likes the results a lot, and his students do, too.

Matt has presented to thousands of teachers at dozens of workshops on a number of topics related to educational technology, world language instruction and more. He combines a conversational, engaging speaking style with loads of resources, leaving teachers equipped and inspired to move forward.

InnEdCO 2018 Digital Literacy Academy Keynote Speaker Heather Lister

Heather Lister is an international speaker and author on the topics of makerspaces, innovative libraries, and space transformation. Formerly a middle school librarian, she is now working with schools across the nation as an Professional Learning Specialist.

Heather received her Bachelor's in Education in Library Science from Kutztown University and then received her Master's Degree in Instructional Technology w/ a concentration in Digital Classrooms from Kutztown University. Heather received a graduate certificate in School Administration and Supervision (ISTE Partnership Program) at Johns Hopkins University.

Heather is a Discovery Educator Network (DEN) Star and a PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovator. She is a Raspberry Pi Certified Educator, a littleBits Training Partner, and a MakeyMakey Certified Trainer. She is a mentor for Year in the Making and is on the Advisory Board of the Transform Your School Library (TYSL) initiative. She is currently the Professional Development Chair for ISTE's Librarians Network. She is a member of ALA, AASL, ISTE, ILA, PSLA, and PAECT. She is certified in Library Science (K-12), Instructional Technology (K-12), Principal (K-12) and Middle-Level Mathematics (7-9). Check out her blog at
